BethAnn Putnam 3/6/17

Today in class was different then the past other days. Last week the class has been working on either our senior paper: which is due 3/21/17 or our critical review video: which is due 3/19/17. Today the class could not work on either assents because the internet was down. So Mr. Rivers gave each group a sheet of paper. He started talking about what Film Classes were like back in the day. Each group picked a different time period to do. My group picked 2000. Then each group came up with what Film class was like during that time period. My group came up with that we had the big TV that looked like a box on the cart. Also that there were VCR'S back then. And if you wanted to watch a movie you had to go to the library and rent one from them. Also that if you wanted to record something, you did it on a tape recorder. Phones back then couldn't record. My group also came up with, while watching the movie, the teacher would give you a sheet of paper that you would fill out. Also no classroom a a class set of computer, so the whole class would have to go down to the computers that were desk top and work off of those. Other groups came up with different time periods of 1987, 1950, 1990. Then the teacher had each group share what they came up with. After that, the teacher had all the groups think of what the Film class would be like in the future. A lot of the groups agreed that there was going to be computers that were using virtual reality. Also that we would end up taking mental notes instead of them on the computer. Also the way we watch things will change and incorporate a lot of new technology.
