Today we continued our film review by watching the film reviews of Jake, Sarah H, Nina, Chris, and Mike Loh. Before we watched the last minute of Jake’s review, due to the bell ringing the middle of it, we discussed the questions we had on basically formatting of the senior papers before handing them in tonight a 11:59. Mr. Rivers also explained to me that if the paper was going to exceed 7 pages that in was necessary for the writing to be needed. After i got home i looked at my paper and noticed i was unnecessarily repeating myself so that shortened my paper(in a good way) it made it more specific and direct. As for film reviews they were all great However Sarah H, Nina, And Chris all reviewed shows and movies i haven't watched so i thought that would make it impossible to follow. I was completely mistaken they all explained it well and provide the background information necessary for understanding the review. Even mike and Jake they did well evaluating as well as using evidence to support the theme they were analyzing. I really enjoyed mike's review he had a good blend of humor along with doing everything a good film review should do. Everyone is doing well and the film festival is enjoyable to watch.
