Bridget van Voorst 3/23/17

Today in class, it was the fourth day of our film festival. From beginning to end the class was filled with the movies our class created. Again we made our “tweets” for each of the films, telling our classmates how we like the film or how it could use improvement. Seeing the films for the past few days has really shed light on how talented each student is. We all managed to create great videos with unfamiliar technology.

Overall I think there was a huge weight off of our shoulders today in class now that our senior papers are finalized. With the stress everyone was experiencing with two major project due at very close times, there was a lot of built up tension for the past couple of weeks. Now that mostly everyone has handed in their projects, we can fully enjoy the rest of the week and really absorb the films without the impending due date of our senior paper looming over our heads.

Mr. Rivers also explained that the rest of the marking period would be relatively smooth sailing considering the previous circumstances. Even though he may not be in class tomorrow, Mr. Rivers mentioned that he may be able to come back for a little and continue playing our reviews. With park schedules approaching, it’s important that we get as many films in this week as possible.

Overall I think that, despite the circumstances of having two of our most important projects due at the same time and not being able to focus 100% on both simultaneously, the reviews still came out well.
