Today due to Mr. Rivers being absent the Film festival did not continue today, but it will be continued on monday. In his stead we were told to do a reflection on our senior paper. Before doing that i took a quick five minutes to fix up my comments on the film festival page because i ended up forgetting or not finishing one of them. After that i started to reflect on my paper. The first thing on the page says what you have learn from the senior paper as well as saying not to make it up and to be honest. So i was honest this is part of it:
Budgeting time works wonders and panic mode isn't always the best for papers like this. I did procrastinate but not the “wait for two days before” type but there was times where i could have used more time to work on things(but hey baby steps). So i learned that using time wisely is an much easier. Also something that really pertains to the paper was That sometimes more isn't better. I had 2 or three paragraphs that were not only opinionated but repetitive, to fix this i either changed the paragraph or deleted it and worked the information into a previous paragraph. It made me think differently about how movies can be analysed.
That is what i wrote and after that i moved onto the content reflection. We were given a rubric to grade ourselves-
After reading through my essay i didn't really have much time left but i do have an idea of what i would grade myself in and how i can get better in most areas.
The last part of the reflection was what do you think would help Mr. Rivers help future students. At the moment i don't have an answer completely but i said to begin was keep deadlines.
