A Continuation of Gilmore Girls by Kada Cernek

'A Continuation of Gilmore Girls' is an extension on the already popular show. The known and loved witty mother daughter duo are back! 48 year old Lorelai Gilmore and 32 year old Rory Gilmore are home in Stars Hollow trying to figure out their lives as a million obstacles hit them at once. Stars Hollow is still a quiet, conservative but always reliable town in Connecticut where all of their friends and family live. This setting as these two take their problems head on such as death and love, helps viewers relate and reminisce on earlier seasons of the show. Lorelai Gilmore, played by the timeless Lauren Graham, still runs the Dragonfly Inn, a bed a breakfast she built from the ground up. She runs her inn with her two best friends Sookie St. James and Michel Gerard. Lorelai is also married to Luke Danes who owns and runs Luke's Diner, Lorelai's favorite restaurant in town. Luke's Diner serves as a central spot for both Lorelai and Rory to resort back to when they need. Rory Gilmore, played by youthful Alexis Bledel, is graduated from college and trying to make it in the world when she gets some unexpected news. Rory runs back home to her best friend and mother, Lorelai, to cope with her problems when her and Lorelai are both given even more unexpected news. Emily Gilmore, played by Kelly Bishop doesn't have much time in this continuation to mock her daughter Lorelai as she sadly passes away suddenly. With Lorelai and Rory both having very different relationships with Emily, the two struggle to see eye to eye on how to resolve and cope with Emily's death. Can these two relate on their hometown, friends and family to work through their problems?
