The Classroom, by Chris Link

Extended Netflix summary:
The Classroom is a situational comedy or sitcom, that focuses on the daily activities of average high school students. It's humor is based off of the popular show The Office, where the characters are frequently shown in interview style scenes. These scenes will have an unknown interviewer ask a question and the scene will contain only the character's response to the question. The series has many subsidiary characters that all have different quirky personalities, such as the main character Tomas Torres. His trusting personality often gets him in trouble when he asks for help. Blu Windle will say or do anything to get an easy laugh, usually at Tomas's expense. K.J. has an intense passion for Japanese culture and Nintendo games, often times honing his gaming skills with his friends at school. Many other characters with differing personalities populate the show along with thee three main characters.  Each episode has many different conflicts which sometimes intertwine and tangle at certain points in the episodes. In the most recent episode Tomas faces the challenges of finding a date for the dance, simply parking his car, and making more friends. Meanwhile Chris has his first interview from the prestigious school, Maine Lanyardtime Academy. Will these two teenagers make it through the day?

  4. It was really funny an you got The Office feel through the characters personalities. You also accomplished the intention of showing instead of telling, with describing the person's looks instead of saying he was upset. Overall it was really funny.

  7. Chris did a good job of accomplishing his first intention by showing how the characters are feeling rather than telling. Also, Chris did a good job of making the humor similar to The Office because he keeps the humor very dry and the characters don't really react to something funny.

  13. Both of you did a great job! Chris accomplished his intention of showing rather than telling. Also this was excellent because it really stayed true to The Office's dry humor. The fourth wall was successfully broken. THIS ROCKED:)

  14. Even though I have not seen the office that much, I was able to tell that you were portraying the Office's humor with the words. And Mike breaking the fourth wall just like the Office was great.

  18. This screenplay is awesome and I love how we were able to see it come to life through Mike Loh's film. You really captured the same tone as the office and found a way to make this humorous but relatable.
