A Recipe for Disaster - Amanda Scully

Do you like Charlize Theron? Bradley Cooper? Sandra Bullock? Come see A Recipe for Disaster June 2032. Taylor (Charlize Theron), a well known pastry chef at a five star restaurant in New York City, graduated from The Culinary Institute of America and married her college sweetheart, Zack (Bradley Cooper) and had two lovely kids. Taylor works every night, making it hard on Zack and taking care of the kids. Zack gets sick of rasing two kids on his own and leaves Taylor high and dry. Taylor is depressed enough to not go into work, Daniel Boulud, her boss is furious and fires her. The uber driver that takes her to and from work everyday doesn't make it any easier on her, by asking her personal questions that hit Taylors emotions, annoying her by just talking, and returing the sarcasm that she gives. Will she find another job at a five star restaurant or will she have to scrounge for a job and try to save herself from her family leaving?

This film is nothing like any other film, there are surprises around every corner. It's not your traditional film with a happy ending, it challenges the traditional romantic comedy film. Although this film challenges the traditional romantic comedy, the moral shows anything can happen to anyone. Many people always say that nothing bad will happen to them, when in reality they can't predict the future and anything can happen at any moment. Taylor always thinks nothing bad will happen to her, and after something bad happens, Taylor thinks of what could happen, but always says, "that will never happen to me". This film shows how anything can happen to anyone, so you should never assume and always try your hardest. Come have a laugh, but learn a valuable lesson in theaters June 2032.

  18. Having Charlize Theron play this kind of role is extremely interesting. While she is normally in action films (Mad Max Fury Road, Snow White and the Huntsman, Atomic Blonde, etc, and I even cast her as my movie's villain), having her play an "average" character gives this story a new flavor to it that no other movie staring her has had.

  19. Long but good read. it was nice to experience the progressions of character for example a reoccurring Uber drive. I like the ending it was unexpected and the way you presented it was very well done.
