If you’re an avid fan of The Office then this newest episode in the series is a must watch. From Diversity Day to The Dinner Party, The Office never fails to make its audience laugh and cringe at the tension-ridden episodes. The uncomfortable one-liners from Michael and the absurd notions created by Dwight are still very apparent in this historical episode of The Office. The character’s backgrounds have been mentioned throughout the entirety of the show, ranging from the in-depth Schrute family tree to the untraceable identity of Creed, and all of this comes to light in this episode.
Several prior beliefs of the character’s pasts are challenged in this episode, with hilarious twists and turns. Dwight’s heritage is questioned,Michael’s is brought to light, Ryan tries to hide his results for fear of complicating things with another co-worker, will the team survive this hysterical roller coaster?
The voice and tone of the office are very important to the overall viewing experience of The Office. With a loyal fan base that becomes attached to every character, it is a challenge to keep with the same feel of the show. Every character is a piece of a machine that makes the show function, this episode accomplished the same projection of the show- as if it were written by Mindy Kaling or B.J. Novak themselves.
